A Tribute to our Healthcare Heroes

2020-2021 has been an unprecedented time in our lives. To say it was difficult is an understatement. Sadly, we lost too many precious lives. Our world was turned upside down, and many, if fortunate enough to survive, have been forever scarred and impacted. The people we have relied on most have been our healthcare providers.

Through difficult times, there’s always ways we can turn negatives into positives, and always lessons to be learned. Helping is one of those ways. As an artist, I felt compelled to do something through my art to thank our healthcare heroes for their endless courage and dedication. For risking their lives to save ours.

To often, we miss the small opportunities in life to show our gratitude to those who deserve it. We let time elapse and take things for granted. One day spills into the next and opportunities are lost in the race of everyday life. This pandemic has reminded me to never take anything for granted, to capture the moment and express gratitude, to act in the moment - don’t wait, and do kind acts.

It is my mission to give as many 12”x16” canvas prints as possible of “Our Love for Healthcare Heroes”, and “A Grateful Heart” to our healthcare heroes. Each time they look at it, they will be reminded that we are grateful for all that they do.
